Awards and Scholarships

This highly international programme attracts outstanding individuals from all over the world, who either fund their own studies, gain financial support from a diversity of scholarships trusts and charitable organisations or are supported by their employers. Information about sources of educational funding is contained in the Graduate Studies Prospectus. In addition, a comprehensive list of bursaries and scholarships is summarised in the University Reporter during the Michaelmas term.

Competition for scholarships is very strong and candidates must familiarise themselves fully with the eligibility criteria and the applications closing dates.

Applicants from outside the UK may be considered for funding by other organisations, including Gates Cambridge Trust, Cambridge Commonwealth Trust, Cambridge Overseas Trust, Cambridge European (not exclusively European Union) Trust and St Luke's Institute amongst others.

Female students who in their application list Lucy Cavendish College as their first preference College and are offered a place on the course may compete for a College Enterprise Bursary of £1000 in support of their travel and other expenses.
